Who we are
Fabian Bernhard and Thomas Burkard founded the design studio BERNHARD | BURKARD in 2010. Ever since, the studio is successfully working in the different fields of industrial design and development. Their comprehensive experience and excellent network enables the studio to accomplish a project from conception to technical realization - offering a full range of services.
Thomas Burkard
Thomas Burkard holds a masterdegree in industrial design. He used to work for the well-known designer Michael Young in Hong Kong and for the facade engineering company Mebatech AG in Baden, where, amongst others, he developed the unique facade of the ethnologial museum in Geneva.
Fabian Bernhard
Before setting up their studio Fabian was working as a design engineer at SIG pack AG, SIG allCap AG and as a creative director at Capartis AG in Schaffhausen. He brings in a profound knowledge in design-engineering, industrial manufacturing and plastic injection.
